Update on Stead Airport Services

I just spoke with Lynn over at Aviation Classics about service changes.

Currently, the only change is that they have closed their hangar unless you call ahead for an appointment.  This action is to do what they can to preserve their employees’ health and continue to work on airplanes.  Call ahead if you need to get into their building. When you call you will likely get their voice mail which indicates they are “closed” – leave a message and they will return your call as soon as they can.  The only thing that is closed right now is physical access to their building.

Self-Service 100LL fuel island is operational.

Full service fuel – Jet and 100LL – is available by calling the Ramp Service phone number – 775-530-7164.  Use this number if you need other flightline or airfield assistance.

I will update you if there are any other changes to Aviation Classics operations, and will post a “service” NOTAM should published services not be available.

Please share this information with other pilots who might not get my emails.
