65 Cadets from UNR, UNLV, Davis, Sac State Thursday-Saturday
Beginning Thursday, April 11 thru Saturday, April 13 Army ROTC cadets will be using the hills NE of airport property for field training.
On Friday, April 12 between 4:00 pm and 7:30 pm there will be training to load and fly helicopters from the Guard facility to a landing zone on the motocross track at the base of the hill on our NE property.
If you are flying, you will see vehicles parked near the Tactical Operations Center (TOC), tents, and troops on foot practicing patrols and other tactical operations. You may hear or see pyrotechnic explosions from grenade simulators or the firing of blank ammunition.
