To keep our pavements in good shape and mitigate the effects of our environment on the asphalt, we plan to spray fog seal over the next couple days.
On TWY A we are working along the centerline from the Aviation Classics hangar to TWY A3. While we are working, aircraft will need to taxi on the ramp. Access to TWY B, RWY 32, and TWY A1 will remain open via taxi on the ramp around the work area. TWY A to A4 and A3 will be open. TWY A2 will be temporarily closed.
When we move to TWY B, we will do the south half from RWY 8/26 to TWY C one day, then move to the north half from C to the north end the next day. These areas will be closed while we are working.
Even after we finish spraying, the areas will remain closed because the oil takes several hours to set up.
We will not spray oil if the winds get over about 8 kts.
As you are taxing around the next few days, please watch for temp detours.
We will keep staff available to help direct you, and we will post remarks on the AWOS.
Let me know if there are questions.
