Good news to hopefully make it easier to dispose of used oil and get rid of our risky underground oil tank. Over at the wash rack you will now see this blue waste oil tank. The old barrel funnel emptying into the underground tank is removed.
Just open the big, square doors now at waist height, and dump your used oil! But, please, no other liquid waste. And, please remember that if you spill petroleum products on the pavement or dirt, let us know so we can take appropriate action.
Next month, you may see us coming in to demolish the underground tank and make sure it has not leaked. After the demo and pavement repairs, we will be putting a cover over this tank to protect it from some of the weather.
We are pretty happy about this change for a number of reasons, we think it will work out nicely for you, too.
