Fog Sealing Ramp 29 May – 1 June

The weather been delaying our pavement maintenance. Based on the current forecast we plan to spray oil on the taxilanes in the M-Block hangars and from the grandstands to the BLM tanker facility on the vehicle roads/parking areas on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 29-30.

M-block hangars early Tuesday, about 7:00 am. You will not be able to get in or out of the hangars until the oil dries enough, early afternoon. We will put cones out blocking access on Monday afternoon. If you need to fly out of the M-block hangars on Tuesday, please move your airplane to the ramp on Monday.

Also on Tuesday we will be doing the area in front of Aviation Classics east to the BLM. We will block these areas to vehicles on Monday afternoon.

On Wednesday, we plan to do the vehicle area from the grandstands over to the airside of the Terminal. This includes the entry gate at the base of the tower. The gate will be closed and the areas blocked off on Tuesday afternoon.

Depending on how much oil we have left over, we may use it on a couple of other areas Wednesday or Thursday. I will let you know where when we see how it is working out.

Should we need to delay this work again, we will slip in a day, but are hopeful that we can get moving.

Thanks for your patience and cooperation. As I say, this is the BEST thing we can do for our pavements to keep them in shape, so I hope you see the same payoff that we do.
