Drone Flights at Stead – May 15-16,2018

The Nevada Institute for Autonomous Systems is conducting drone test flights with a single drone on Tuesday – Wednesday, May 15-16, 2018.

The launch and flight area is west of the departure end of Runway 32, and north of the National Guard ramp. Flights will be from the SFC –  400’AGL and monitoring CTAF 122.7.  The attached graphic shows the flight area and Ground Control Station (GCS) where the aircraft will be taking off/landing.

Flights will be by a single aircraft and intermittent for testing/training purposes. An airspace NOTAM will be posted.

Vehicles will transit the road east of RWY 14/32 and enter the GCS from north of TWY B. Construction traffic/drivers should be aware of a couple extra vehicles.
