Activity Around Stead Through Mid-May 2019

There are three activities you will be seeing from now thru May 11, 2019.

Drone America and NASA testing. Now thru May 11, 2019 in areas pictured below. Daytime business hours. I will update this info as it matures.

Drone America, daily, VTOL multi-rotor SFC – 200’ AGL
Drone America, daily, VTOL airplane SFC – 400’ AGL
NASA, May 1 – 11, multiple aircraft. Building Height/Obstacle + 75’ AGL
NASA May 1-11 Building Height/Obstacle + 75’ AGL.

Law enforcement will be using to pavement area at the west end of TWY A, south and clear of TWY A, for motorcycle training. April 22nd – April 26th  &  May 13th  – May 24th .

There will be some digging to test soils in the SW corner of airport property on Thursday, April 25 and Friday, April 26. This is just inside our fence from the big Michelin and GM buildings SW of us. You may see vehicles and equipment moving around in that area, but it should not interfere with our operations or the Guard access road.

Let me know of questions, and I will update the drone info for NASA testing as it refines. Thanks for all your cooperation as we enter a very busy spring/summer!!
