RTAA Soliciting Proposals for ex-Army National Guard Barracks Area

The RTAA is soliciting proposals for the former Army National Guard barracks at the Stead Airport. Attached is a copy of the notice. We wanted to make sure that Stead User Group members are aware. If you could pass on the information and/or post a link on your website it would be appreciated.

From the attached document:

The Premises was formerly a Nevada Army National Guard barracks. The Nevada Army National Guard concluded a long-term lease of the Premises in 2019. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approved RTS Airport Layout Plan (ALP) and the Reno-Stead Airport Master Plan (RTS Master Plan) show the Premises located on land that is designated for an aeronautical use.

The purpose of this REOI is to determine whether there is market interest from Respondents to lease the entire Premises in its “as-is” condition for use that is consistent with the ALP, RTS Master Plan and City of Reno Zoning Code. The RTAA invites Submittals from all Respondents that have interest in leasing the Premises under the conditions stated above.

Thank You

-Adam
